Public Service Announcement Request

We offer airtime for Public Service Announcements to help non-profit organizations and grassroots groups share their mission and community initiatives. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) require that PSAs remain strictly informational rather than promotional.

1. Eligibility & Timeline

  • Non-Profit Status: Submissions are accepted exclusively from non-profit and grassroots organizations. If the announcement involves money or a measurable benefit, the recipient must have 501(c)(3) status.

  • Submission Deadline: Please submit your request at least two weeks prior to your event to ensure it can be placed into the broadcast rotation.

  • Non-Commercial: We do not accept announcements for commercial purposes or fundraisers held at commercial establishments, even if a portion of the funds are donated to charity.

  • Sponsorships: For businesses and nonprofits that don’t meet this criteria, we offer sponsorship opportunities to share about your organization and initiatives on-air. Learn about Sponsorships here.

2. Required Information

Every request must clearly state:

  • The mission and work of your organization.

  • Event Details: The specific date, time, and location.

  • Contact Information: Relevant links or resources for the public.

3. Timing & Word Count

Our standard PSA length is 30 seconds and approximately 70 words long.

All submissions are subject to editing by the Program Director and review by the Compliance Officer to ensure they meet federal standards.
