Daryl Howard

Dr. Daryl Howard is a lifelong educator, author, and professor who serves as a collective member and host for the radio program #UMustLearn on WPFW 89.3 FM. A volunteer programmer with the station for the past two years, he contributes to weekly conversations designed to inform, inspire, and ignite the community through the lens of liberatory education.
Dr. Howard's professional expertise and advocacy are deeply rooted in race and cultural proficiency, social-emotional learning, and generational trends in technology. He is particularly dedicated to exploring and amplifying the experiences of male teachers and students within educational spaces, bringing these essential perspectives to the DMV community. Through his work on the airwaves, he helps provide a trusted platform for diverse voices to explore issues of equity and social justice.
